Doomed Dutton calls referendum on himself

Well, at least we’re going to be shot of him in a hurry:

In one fell swoop on Wednesday, the Voice to parliament became less about Indigenous people and more about a proxy political war between Peter Dutton and Anthony Albanese.

Borrowing from those who wrecked the republican push in 1999 by disingenuously labelling it the “politician’s republic”, Peter Dutton declared similarly the Coalition would be opposing the “Canberra Voice”.
