Labor spins fake housing affordability solutions

The Albanese Government introduced legislation to establish its $10 billion housing future fund on Thursday.

It is part of Labor’s timid push for the construction of one million new homes over the five years from mid-2024, which is less than the 1.05 million homes that were built in the five years leading up to the pandemic.

The government will allocate up to $500 million a year from the fund to invest in social and affordable housing.
