China services confidence jumps

The headline Caixin services PMI jumped 4.9 points to 52.9 in January, on the back of notable improvements in demand, output and expectations. This was the first above-50 reading in five months. It reaffirms the recovery signal in the earlier official services PMI. Firms are anticipating the fruits of economic reopening.

The rebound is driven by domestic demand.
