The Chinese Communist Party has again failed to provide a secure and safe environment for its citizens, following the draconian zero-COVID restrictions and subsequent loosening that has now seen the virus spread endemically across the Middle Kingdom, all actions designed to secure the Party’s control, not to given the everyday Chinese a chance at prosperity and safety.
The so-called China Dream has rightly become a nightmare.
