Albo’s Labor shoots clear of Coalition after energy bill passes

The last Roy Morgan voting intentions poll of the year shows the Albanese Labor Government pulling well clear of Peter Dutton’s Coalition following the passage of the energy bill through parliament, which capped gas and coal prices.

Labor now leads by 17 points on a two-party preferred basis (58.5% to 41.5%) after gaining 2 percentage points of support:

This is easily the largest lead for Labor since being elected in late May.
