Victorian election race tightens

Opinion polls have tightened ahead of this weekend’s Victorian state election, with Labor and the Coalition now neck-and-neck on primary vote.
According to Resolve, Labor’s primary vote has fallen by 7 percentage points since the last election to 36%, whereas the Coalition’s has risen 5 percentage points from 31%.

However, Labor is still ahead on a two-party preferred basis, leading 53% to 47%, thanks largely to Green preferences.
