Seek October job ads keep the falling trend in place


NATIONAL INSIGHTS:
• Job ads declined 3.7% month-on-month (m/m) but are 44.7% higher compared to October 2019.
• Applications per job ad grew for the fourth consecutive month, rising 7.3% m/m.


STATE & TERRITORY INSIGHTS:
• Three states recorded a m/m fall in job ads: Victoria (-7.6%), New South Wales (-2.7%) and South Australia (- 0.9%).
• Both Victoria and New South Wales recorded a monthly drop in job ads in almost all industries.
