The Australian Bureau of Statistics has released construction activity data for the September quarter, with the total value of work done increasing 2.2% over the quarter, beating analysts’ expectations of a 1.5% rise:
The overall increase was driven by engineering construction (+3.4%) on the back of state government infrastructure projects.
