I noted on Thursday how the federal Labor Government has doubled the number of elderly parent visas that will be handed out in 2022-23, from 4500 places to 8500 places.

Now Victorian Premier Dan Andrews has called on the federal government to uncap the number of long-term temporary parent visas, alongside reducing their cost to sponsoring families:
