Cowardly Albo supports tax cuts for rich

The Albanese Government will not make any changes to the legislated stage 3 personal income tax cuts package in its first Budget on 25 October.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has reiterated that Labor’s position on the tax cuts has not changed since it backed the package at the federal election in May.

Sources have indicated that Albanese considered it to be too politically risky to break a key promise so soon after the election. However, Labor has not ruled out making changes to the tax package in future Budgets:
