Confidence in Albo’s Labor won’t last

Research undertaken by Swinburne University shows that the general public’s confidence in the federal government has increased since Labor took office in late May.

Public confidence in the nation’s leadership rose to 61 points out of 100 in the September quarter, compared with a low of 52 points in the three months to March when the former Morrison Government was embroiled in various “corruption, integrity, and transparency-related accusations”:

Likewise, Labor scored 60 points out of 100 on the university’s integrity index, well above the Coalition’s integrity rating of around 50 to 52 points between October 2021 and the election:
