Aussie capex fell in Q2

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has released capital expenditure data for the June quarter, which fell 0.3% over the quarter to be 2.0% higher year-on-year. The quarterly decline was driven by a 2.5% fall in buildings and structures:

The result badly missed analysts expectations of a 1.5% rise.
