‘Lefty’ Albo doubles down on Stage 3 tax cuts

After nine out of 18 crossbenchers across the House of Representatives and the Senate called on Labor to delay or axe the Stage 3 tax cuts, Liberal MP Russell Broadbent has joined the chorus, claiming the growing national debt and the need for bushfire and flood recovery funding means the tax cuts should be cancelled:

“When things change, we should change. The world has turned on its head since the tax cuts were introduced”…

Mr Broadbent said Labor should “bite the bullet” and drop the cuts now… “People like me don’t need tax cuts.”
