New fortnightly data from the Fair Work Commission (FWC) shows that that 153 applications for enterprise agreements covering 19,132 people were lodged from 2-15 July, with an average wage rise of 3.2%.
This represented an increase from the average wage growth of 2.6% in new agreements approved in the March and December quarters.
The proposed wage increases in the latest batch of data range from an average of 2.6% for about 1,000 storage service workers to 5.6% for 1,329 children’s services workers.
