Business confidence rebounds on immigration reboot

Roy Morgan’s Business Confidence survey for August has been released, with overall confidence rebounding 1.1 points to 96.0 – the first monthly rise since April 2022:

Roy Morgan business confidence finally rebounds.
Results were mixed across the index with businesses growing more confident about longer-term prospects for the Australian economy while being more concerned about the next year and less likely to invest in growing the business in the next 12 months.
