The Greens have flagged plans to introduce amendments to Labor’s integrity commission legislation so that it is in alignment with the crossbench bill of independent MP Helen Haines in the previous parliament. They include giving the commission budgetary independence, introducing protection for whistleblowers and lowering the bar for investigations.
