Albo’s housing summit all hot air

The federal government’s national housing affordability plan will be discussed at the first meeting of state and federal housing ministers in almost five years.

Housing Minister Julie Collins will convene the meeting today, with the agenda to include policies that Labor took to the 21 May election. These include its Housing Australia Future Fund and its shared equity scheme for first-home buyers.

Collins has also criticised the former Coalition government’s lack of action on the issue of housing.
