Election drives fall in Roy Morgan unemployment

Roy Morgan Research has released its May unemployment estimate, with the unemployment rate falling 1.6% to 8.1% on the back of a surge in part-time work as Australians worked the election.

However, underemployment in May increased by 0.2% points to 8.6%:
