Mad Auckland’s average dwelling price hits $1.5 million

According to CoreLogic, New Zealand property values rose by 0.8% in February to be up 25.2% year-on-year:

As shown in the next table, Auckland’s average property value has surpassed $1.5 million for the first ever time, with New Zealand’s average value hitting a record high $1.04 million:

In fact, average values are above $1 million across three out of six of New Zealand’s main centres.
