The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) yesterday released quarterly employment data, which shows the healthcare & social assistance industry has driven the nation’s jobs growth over the pandemic.
Over the February quarter, healthcare & social assistance added a whopping 105,600 jobs – 59% of the 180,000 total jobs created in Australia over the quarter:
Over the year to February 2022, the healthcare & social assistance industry added 204,400 jobs – 52% of the 395,000 jobs created in Australia over that period:
