As we know, Victoria has experienced the strongest population growth in Australia.

Since the turn of the century, the state’s population has ballooned by 2.0 million people – a 42% increase in only 21 years.

Last month, Australian Medical Association’s (AMA) Roderick McRae claimed Victoria’s hospital crisis has been years in the making, brought about by decades of “magnificent underfunding” amid rampant population growth:
