Tame and Higgins condemn Morrison

I’ve just watched the Grace Tame, Brittany Higgins double team at the press club and I don’t really know what to say.

These two are extraordinary. The personal power, merciless truth and integrity is beyond my words to express.

Both savaged the Morrison Government, Scott Morrison in particular, as well as the entire parliamentary institution and the MSM.

The two presentations were so pithy and full of quotable material that it’s impossible for me to single things out. All I can say is you should watch the video when it becomes available.

I few headlines grabbers were:

  • Higgins declared that Barnaby Joyce had implied Morrison knew of the alleged rape and that the Government had done next-to-nothing ever since.
  • Tame described Morrison’s “coercive control” as a parallel to the role of the abuser, recounted being indirectly and directly intimidated by Morrison and his henchmen to shut up throughout her Australian of the Year tenure, and repeatedly described Morrison failure to act.

I’ve never seen anything like it in Aussie politics and can’t see how Morrison survives it.
