Listings tsunami fails to dampen auction market

The nation’s auction market held firm over the weekend, shrugging aside massive volumes and concerns over rising interest rates.

Despite 2,898 homes taken to auction this week (up 20.7% week-on-week and 36.2% year-on-year), the preliminary national auction clearance rate came in at a solid 74.6%, down from 75.7% last weekend:
