Australia’s property market suffering chronic lack of supply

SQM Research has released its Stock on Market report for January, which shows a chronic lack of for sale inventory across Australia.

Total for sale listings dived 8.0% nationally in January to be down a whopping 24.2% year-on-year, with virtually all markets experiencing declines:

Nationally, new listings (Less than 30 days) fell 27.6% over January to be 1.8% lower over the year:
