Aussie workers are enjoying the best jobs market in generations

Indeed economist, Callam Pickering, has updated his job postings data to 4 February 2022, which shows that new postings are running 92% above their pre-COVID level, whereas total postings are running 96% above their pre-COVID level:

Interestingly, the lift in job postings is being driven by Victoria (104%) and NSW (102%), which are running well ahead of the rest of Australia (86%):
