Aussie capital city house prices rose 0.8% in January

CoreLogic has released its daily dwelling values index for 31 January, which shows that values across the five major markets rose by 0.82% over the month – a reacceleration from December’s 0.63% rise:

Brisbane (2.3%) and Adelaide (2.2%) led growth, with Sydney (0.6%), Perth (0.6%) and Melbourne (0.2%) trailing:

Quarterly growth across the five major markets moderated further to 2.5%:
