In other related news, vaccinated international travellers will be allowed to enter Queensland without needing quarantine from this weekend.
Arrivals will only be required to do a rapid antigen test on entry, in line with national cabinet guidelines.
Tasmania also recorded 1,185 new cases over the past 24 hours, with active cases rising to 6,323.
