QLD has recorded another 6781 new COVID cases over the past 24 hours:
There are now 32,705 active cases across the state:
QLD Chief health officer Dr John Gerrard said case numbers were “much higher” than the official tally because many people with mild symptoms were not being tested.
“Despite significant number of cases, there are still just 10 patients in intensive care,” he said, two of which are being ventilated.
Another 265 people in hospital are being treated for COVID.
Separately, the ACT has recorded 810 cases today, taking active cases to 3069.
Whereas Tasmania has recorded 867 new cases, taking active cases to 3118.
