Tasmania COVID cases roughly doubled over the past 24 hours to 1489 new infections, taking active cases to 4681:
There are eight Tasmanians in hospital with COVID, none of whom are in ICU.
The ACT recorded 1246 new infections, up from 992 yesterday:
