It appears FriendlyJordies has beaten former Deputy Premier into submission. After his recent resignation, Barilaro has dropped his legal action:

Former NSW deputy premier John Barilaro has settled a defamation case against YouTube comedian Jordan Shanks.

No damages will be paid to Mr Barilaro but Mr Shanks has agreed to edit two social media videos to remove content that Mr Barilaro claimed was “offensive”.

Mr Barilaro was suing Mr Shanks, better known as friendlyjordies, in the Federal Court over a series of videos published last year.

Mr Shanks’s barrister, Matt Collins QC, read out a statement on behalf of his client after the court heard the matter had been settled out of court.

“Freedom of expression for political communication is important, but Mr Shanks accepts that some of the videos posted were offensive to Mr Barilaro,” he said.

“Mr Shanks understands that Mr Barilaro has been hurt and apologises to him for that hurt.”

FJ has also triumphed over the fascistic NSW police and is now going for the jugular:
