On a positive note, Victoria’s Reff is now starting to drop, currently at 1.26:

A Reff above 1.0 means that cases will keep growing, whereas a Reff below 1.0 means cases will fall.
Finally, the Victorian Government has announced that it will buy 2.2 million rapid antigen tests, which will initially be used by healthcare workers. The government has also relaxed the rules for Victorian residents who are currently in designated hotspots in NSW and the ACT and want to return home.
