Australia is expected to hit the 80% first-dose vaccination mark today:


As of yesterday, 79.6% of Australians aged over 16 had received one vaccine dose, and 56.9% were fully vaccinated. Australia is projected to reach the 70% double vaccination target on 23 October and 80% vaccination target on 5 November, according to CovidLive.com.au.
The vaccination rates across the jurisdictions are as follows.
NSW
NSW has reached the 88.5% first-dose mark and 67.5% are fully vaccinated. It is expected to reach the 70% double vaccination target on 7 October and 80% vaccination target on 17 October:


Victoria:
82.3% of Victorians have received their first vaccine dose and 52.6% are fully vaccinated. It is expected to reach the 70% double vaccination target on 29 October and 80% vaccination target on 13 November:


Queensland:
67.6% of Queenslanders have received one dose and 48.7% are fully vaccinated. It is expected to reach the 70% double vaccination target on 16 November and 80% vaccination target on 6 December:


Western Australia:
66.6% of Western Australians have received a singe vaccine dose whereas 48.5% are fully vaccinated. It is expected to reach the 70% double vaccination target on 18 November and 80% vaccination target on 9 December:


South Australia:
69.5% of South Australians have received their first vaccine dose and 51.5% are fully vaccinated. It is expected to reach the 70% double vaccination target on 9 November and 80% vaccination target on 29 November:


Tasmania:
77.5% of Tasmanians have received at least one dose and 60.1% have been fully vaccinated. It is expected to reach the 70% double vaccination target on 25 October and 80% vaccination target on 14 November:


ACT:
The ACT is the only jurisdiction to pass the 90% threshold for first jabs (93.3%) and 67.3% are fully vaccinated. It is expected to reach the 70% double vaccination target on 8 October and 80% vaccination target on 20 October:


NT:
66.8% of NT residents have received one vaccine dose, whereas 53.8% are fully vaccinated. It is expected to reach the 70% double vaccination target on 15 November and 80% vaccination target on 11 December:
