Most are mystery cases. Of the 514 local cases, only 148 have been linked to known cases and outbreaks.

Yesterday, the entire regional city of Ballarat was placed in lockdown after another four COVID-19 cases were detected. This outbreak was believed to have been seeded from a construction worker that worked on Melbourne sites.
On a brighter note, the lockdown in Shepparton ended yesterday after its outbreak was brought under control.
