Retail sales fall again amid lockdowns

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has released retail sales data for August, which fell another 1.7% over the month and 0.7% year-on-year:

The lockdown jurisdictions of NSW, Victoria and the ACT experienced the biggest declines:
