NSW daily COVID cases dip

NSW Health reported another 1,220 locally acquired COVID cases over the past 24 hours:

Another eight people have died with COVID:

  • A man in his 50s
  • A man in his 60s
  • Three people in their 70s
  • A man in his 80s
  • Two people in their 90s

There have been 139 COVID-19 related deaths in NSW since 16 June 2021.

There are currently 1151 COVID-19 cases admitted to hospital, with 192 people in intensive care, 75 of whom require ventilation.

Hopefully NSW daily cases have finally peaked, but probably not.
