NSW recorded 1,127 locally acquired COVID cases over the past 24 hours – the lowest number in nearly a fortnight:

Two people died with COVID over the past 24 hours:
- A man in his 50s; and
- A woman in her 80s.
There have been 186 COVID-19 related deaths in NSW since 16 June 2021.
There are currently 1,253 COVID-19 cases admitted to hospital, with 231 people in intensive care, 104 of whom require ventilation.
