NSW COVID cases climb to 20,000

NSW Health has reported another 1288 locally acquired COVID cases:

Seven more people died with COVID:

  • Four people in their 80s
  • Two people in their 70s
  • One person in their 50s.

There have been 107 COVID-19 related deaths in NSW since 16 June 2021.

957 people are in hospital in NSW being treated for COVID, with 160 in ICU.
