Australia’s Delta outbreak continues to grow.
First, Victoria recorded another 183 cases today with only 101 linked to known cases and outbreaks:

Victoria’s daily case numbers have broken higher:
And active cases have risen above 1400:
The picture is obviously worse in NSW, which today recorded another 1,485 locally acquired COVID cases:

Three more people in NSW died with COVID:
- A woman in her 50s;
- A woman in her 70s; and
- A man in his 70s.
There have been 126 COVID-19 related deaths in NSW since 16 June 2021.
There are currently 1,030 COVID-19 cases admitted to hospital, with 175 people in intensive care, 72 of whom require ventilation.
