Victoria records another 50 new COVID cases

Victoria has recorded another 50 locally acquired COVID cases over the past 24 hours:

Of the 50 local cases recorded, 40 are linked to current outbreaks and 10 are under investigation. 11 cases have been in quarantine throughout their infectious period. This means that 39 were active in the community.

The next chart shows the daily case count, with today’s result the lowest since 18 August:
