VIC records another 21 local COVID infections

Victoria has recorded another 21 locally acquired COVID infections over the past 24 hours:

Of the locally-acquired cases, 17 have been linked to current outbreaks and 4 are still under investigation. 15 have been in quarantine throughout their infectious periods.

There are more than 340 exposure sites.

The next chart plots Victoria’s daily case count, which remains stubbornly locked at or above 20 cases a day:

Melbourne’s lockdown was extended by another week yesterday, meaning lockdown is not scheduled to end until midnight next Thursday.
