VIC records 15 new COVID cases

Victoria’s daily COVID count has finally fallen below 20, recording 15 new cases over the past 24 hours:

Of the 15 new locally-acquired cases, 11 have been linked to current outbreaks and 4 have sources of infection still under investigation. 8 have been in quarantine throughout their infectious periods.

There are now around 145 active local COVID cases across Victoria:

Meanwhile, with Melbourne’s lockdown extended another week, the state and federal governments have announced an additional $367 million support package for businesses that have been hit by Melbourne’s latest lockdown.
