QLD records another 16 local COVID cases

QLD has recorded another 16 new locally acquired COVID cases – the same number as the prior two days:

16 cases for three days in a row.

All new cases are linked to a cluster involving schools in Brisbane’s inner west, which has grown to 79.

Thankfully, only three of these cases spent time in the community while infectious.

The total number of active local cases across Queensland has grown to 82:

South East Queensland’s lockdown is scheduled to end at 4pm Sunday. It’s looking line ball at the moment.
