NSW Health has recorded another 919 new locally acquired COVID cases over the past 24 hours – a fresh pandemic high:

106 were in isolation throughout their infectious period and 18 were in isolation for part of their infectious period. 37 cases were infectious in the community, and the isolation status of 758 cases remains under investigation.
Two more people died, including a women in her 30s. This brings the number of COVID-related deaths to 76 since 16 June 2021.
645 people are being treated in hospital for COVID with 113 in ICU.
