NSW Health has recorded another 681 new COVID cases over the past 24 hours – a new high:

135 cases were in isolation throughout their infectious period and 28 were in isolation for part of their infectious period. 59 cases were infectious in the community, and the isolation status of 459 cases remains under investigation.
A man in his 80s died, bringing the number of COVID-related deaths to 61 since 16 June.
474 people are in hospital being treated for COVID with 82 in ICU.
