NSW Health reports that another 35 local COVID cases were recorded over the past 24 hours, taking the total number of active infections to 309:
NSW recorded 35 new locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night.

Of today’s 35 new locally acquired cases, 24 were in isolation throughout their infectious periods and four cases were in isolation for part of their infectious period. Seven cases were infectious in the community.
NSW Health is treating 226 COVID-19 cases. Four of these people are in intensive care and none require ventilation. Most cases (89%) are being treated in non-acute, out-of-hospital care, including returned travellers in the Special Health Accommodation.

QLD also reported an additional 4 locally acquired COVID infections, taking their total active cases to 29. All new cases were linked to known clusters.
