Tourism industry smashed again by Morrison incompetence

Australia’s tourism industry cannot win a break.

The industry was hit hard during the Christmas/New Year holidays when Sydney’s Northern Beaches outbreak caused widespread border closures and travel chaos, resulting in thousands of people either cutting their vacations short or cancelling them altogether.

Then the Brisbane/Byron Bay Easter COVID outbreak caused more disruption to the tourism industry, resulting in cancelled events, bookings and travel arrangements during one of the most busy tourist seasons of the year.
