Consumer confidence hits pandemic high

The ANZ-Roy Morgan weekly consumer confidence report has been released with the confidence index rising by 1.5% to 114.2 – the highest weekly reading since the pandemic began:

The boost was driven by a sharp 4.6% lift in ‘current financial conditions’, with only 23% of responders voting that they are ‘worse off’ financially than this time last year.
