One year on, Payroll jobs and wages have fully recovered

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) today released weekly payroll jobs and wages for the week ended 14 March 2021. This week’s release is especially pertinent as it marks the one year anniversary since the COVID-19 pandemic officially commenced in Australia.

Importantly, both payroll jobs and wages have fully recovered their COVID losses and are now tracking higher than the same time last year.
