Final auction clearance rate hits new 6-year high

CoreLogic has released its final auction report for last weekend, with the national clearance rate hitting a new 6-year high of 80.9%.

The result was driven by Sydney, which recorded a 85.0% final clearance rate from 1018 results. Melbourne’s clearance rate was softer at 78.8% off 1,316 results. The other markets, where auctions aren’t nearly as prevalent, recorded solid to strong clearances.
