Roy Morgan unemployment falls to 10 month low

The latest unofficial labour market report from Roy Morgan Research adds to the body of evidence showing that Australia’s employment market is experiencing a ‘V-shaped’ recovery.
According to Roy Morgan, unemployment fell to 11.7% in January – the lowest level since the coronavirus hit in March 2020:
This followed a gain of 26,000 jobs since December, taking the total number of Australians employed to 12,675,000 – also the highest number since March 2020.
